One piece stainless steel half-out weighing 50 grains, made for Easton's 5mm shaft family.

The half-out is glued into the shaft and protrudes slightly. The point then seats against a steel shoulder rather than against the carbon or aluminium itself, which protects the shaft end from crushing and splitting. That matters on dense targets and on the occasional hit against a wooden or metal target frame.

The 8-32 thread accepts common screw-in points and, where hunting is legal, broadheads as well. The collar is matched to 9/32 inch field points, so the transition from point to shaft stays flush.

All 50 grains sit right at the front of the arrow. FOC goes up and the shaft reacts slightly weaker in dynamic spine, so a change from a lighter insert to this half-out is worth rechecking against the spine chart.

Two sizes cover the entire 5mm range. The table shows which shaft and spine takes which size.
