Backstop Mat – Maximum Safe – Height: 2 m

The Maximum Safe backstop mat is designed to increase safety in archery by reliably stopping arrows that miss the target. It reduces the risk of arrows passing through and minimizes the effort required to recover lost arrows. The system combines a high level of safety with a balanced price–performance ratio.

The material is environmentally friendly and features a discreet grey colour to keep the focus on the target area.

The mat has been tested at various distances using different types of bows and high draw weights. Consistently strong stopping performance was also confirmed with different arrow materials. In internal comparisons, it provided the best arrow-stopping results we have recorded to date.

Compared to traditional backstop nets, the dense material offers significantly better energy absorption. As a result, arrows are reliably slowed down—even when shot with powerful compound bows.

The mat is suitable for use in gardens, on outdoor courses, in clubs, or in archery shops. Installation is straightforward: the wire rope is threaded through the eyelets and fixed to a tree or other stable anchor points, allowing for flexible and quick setup.
