While it is relatively easy to replace the strings on pistol crossbows and recurve crossbows by yourself (a stringer is usually included in the scope of delivery), a press will be required for compound crossbows. We recommend that the replacement of strings and cables on compound crossbows should only be carried out by experienced personnel.
