Standard HIT insert at 16 grain for shafts using the 5 mm HIT system, with installation tool.

With the HIT system the insert disappears entirely inside the shaft. The point then seats directly against the end of the shaft, and impact load travels into the shaft wall rather than into the insert. That is why these shafts take so much punishment despite their small diameter.

The supplied tool pushes the insert to the correct depth so it sits centred and flush.

Adhesive is not included. Usually epoxy is used for fitting.
The end of the shaft has to be square after cutting, otherwise the point sits off centre.
For more weight at the front of the arrow, the brass insert is the one to take.
