Hardened stainless steel reinforcing collar for the point end of shafts using the 5 mm HIT system.

The collar slides over the point end and takes up the load that impact on hard targets puts on the shaft wall. That is exactly where an unreinforced HIT shaft gives way first, because the insert sits inside and channels the force into the wall.

Size follows the outside diameter of the shaft at the point end, and therefore the model and the spine.

Suits the Easton Axis, FMJ, Carbon Legacy, 5.0 and Sonic 6.0 among others. The right size depends on the model and the spine.
Depending on size the collar adds 15 to 22 grain at the front of the arrow. That raises FOC and changes dynamic spine.
The Sonic 6.0 additionally requires its own brass inserts.
