The Vector is a multi-layer wrapped shaft in pure carbon. Easton states it is made using the same processes as their tournament shafts while sitting well below them in price. That makes it the obvious choice for club use, for a second set, and for anyone shooting enough volume to lose a shaft now and then.

The shaft is parallel, running at the same diameter along its whole length. Unlike barrelled shafts there is therefore no limit on how far it may be trimmed; the only limit is the stock length. And that differs with every spine, from 32 inches on the 600 down to 26.5 inches on the 2000. A look at the table before ordering saves the disappointment of a spine that simply arrives too short for your draw length.

The inside diameter is 0.166 inch, sold as 4.2 mm or G size. Nocks for that size fit regardless of spine. Points are a different matter: Easton offers two 4 mm ranges, ML and HL, and their size numbers are not the same. Both are break-off points, where sections of 10 grains can be snapped off to tune point weight without buying another set.
