Gas Pro has brought back the Baremax design from 2013, here with three thin layers of Italian cordovan. Cordovan is an unusually dense horse leather that barely compresses under the string and does not form a permanent groove. That is what shows in the release: the string runs off evenly and the feel for string contact stays the same over a long session. Archers looking for that feedback will find it here in the most elaborate version of the range. The same tab is also available with two layers of Italian leather at a lower price.

The frame is solid metal and the string walking marks are lasered straight into it. They stay readable and do not wear away, which printed or embossed scales tend to do over the course of a season.

The thin, ergonomically shaped finger spacer comes pre-installed and keeps index and middle finger apart. The tab is held by an elastic strap running over two fingers, keeping it in place between shots as well.
