Tungsten break-off point for shafts with a 3.2 mm inside diameter, made to a weight tolerance of ±0.1 grain.

Tungsten is considerably denser than steel. The same point weight therefore sits on a shorter body and further forward in the shaft, which raises FOC without shifting dynamic spine as much as a long steel point would.

The point ships at 120 grain. Two break lines allow the weight to be reduced to 110 or 100 grain without rebuilding the arrow. The silver version is left bare, while black and gold carry a 5 µm PVD titanium nitride coating which the maker states hardens the surface and reduces wear.

Note

What matters is the 3.2 mm inside diameter, as used among others by the Easton X10 range and the Skylon Performa/Precium/Paragon ID3.2.
On barrelled shafts the outside diameter at the point end varies with spine. The transition from point to shaft is therefore not flush on every spine.
