The Novana V2 is Kinetic's 23 inch ILF riser, built for beginners and for archers with a shorter draw length.

At 23 inches it comes in two inches shorter than a classic 25 inch riser. Paired with short, medium or long limbs that usually works out to bow lengths of 64, 66 or 68 inches. For younger archers, smaller archers and anyone for whom a 68 inch bow is simply too much bow, the draw fits considerably better than it would on a standard riser.

The frame is die-cast. The geometry is built around structural rigidity and vibration damping, and the 1080 gram mass helps the bow settle at full draw. The manufacturing method is also what sets the 36 pound limit noted below, which needs to be taken into account when choosing limbs.

The ILF pockets carry a limb alignment system based on the pivot block, letting the limbs be lined up laterally against one another. Tiller bolts are stainless steel and the grip sits at a 40 degree angle. Being an ILF riser, it takes limbs from any ILF manufacturer, so draw weight is raised later by fitting new limbs rather than by buying a new bow.

Note

• The riser is rated for a maximum of 36 lbs. This limit follows from how the riser is made and must not be exceeded.
• Limbs are marked with the draw weight they produce on a 25 inch riser. On this 23 inch riser they come in around two pounds heavier, so a pair marked 36 lbs will sit at roughly 38 lbs here. Allow two pounds of headroom below the limit when choosing limbs.

Basicaly all ILF limbs will fit this riser. Please mind that bow length and poundage is related to a 25" riser. So a limb with 66" and 20 lbs (on a 25" riser at 28" draw length) will result in a 64" bow with approximately 22 lbs when used on this 23" riser (at 28" draw length).
