The Bear Grizzly is one of the most iconic recurve bows ever produced. First introduced in the 1950s, the final design revision was made in 1964 — a design that has remained virtually unchanged ever since. This consistency is what defines the Grizzly’s legendary status.

The one-piece riser is crafted from Hard-Rock Maple with Red Dymondwood, while the limbs feature clear maple cores backed and faced with high-strength black fiberglass. This proven material combination delivers durability, smooth draw characteristics, and dependable shooting performance.

With its 58″ AMO length, the Bear Grizzly is a versatile bow suitable for beginners entering traditional archery as well as experienced archers looking for a reliable, no-nonsense recurve.

The cut-on-center arrow shelf, complete with a crowned shelf, leather side plate, and bear hair arrow rest, ensures clean arrow flight and consistent accuracy. A Dacron string is included, matching the classic construction.
