Product Description

The Frontier Hawk by Cold Steel is inspired by traditional frontier-era working axes and combines historic design elements with modern manufacturing techniques. The head is drop forged from 1055 carbon steel, resulting in a dense, homogeneous structure and excellent durability.

Thanks to differential heat treatment, the cutting edge is suitable for proper sharpening, while the remainder of the head is kept tougher to better absorb shock and impact. This construction method is typical for striking tools where control, resilience, and longevity are key factors.

The American hickory handle offers a classic feel and balanced handling. With its moderate weight and compact proportions, the Frontier Hawk is well suited as a working and outdoor tool, as well as for historical display or collection purposes.
