The blade is made from 1055 carbon steel and finished with a matte black baked-on corrosion-resistant coating. It is supplied ready for use and can be further sharpened if required. The steel selection emphasizes toughness, durability, and ease of maintenance.
The polypropylene handle is resistant to moisture and mechanical stress, providing a secure and controlled grip. For safe transport and storage, the machete is supplied with a fitted Cor-Ex sheath.
