UHMWPE string material for building recurve bowstrings.
The FLX RC is made for recurve bows, from the traditional hunting recurve to the modern olympic riser and the longbow. The colour sits in the fibre itself rather than in an outer coating, so the yarn hardly bleeds, neither onto tab and fingers nor onto light coloured limb covers.
The material is pre-stretched under controlled conditions, so a finished string settles only a little and holds brace height and nocking point sooner. Wax content is kept low, which keeps the yarn clean to handle while building. Each spool holds 250 m, enough for several strings depending on strand count and bow length.
