The Bohning Blazer Nock fits shafts with a 0.246 inch inside diameter, that is standard diameter, sold as 6.2 mm or 6.5 mm depending on the maker and generally known as an S nock.

It is the sturdiest of Bohning's insert nocks. The double lock throat grips firmly and keeps the arrow on the string even when it is set down between shots. At an average of 9.0 grains it puts a little more weight at the rear than the lighter models, which makes no practical difference in training or club use but is worth counting in a competition setup that has been tuned to the last grain.

Before going into production every Bohning nock design passes simulation, destructive testing and an endurance run of more than 1000 shots at over 110 ft-lbs of kinetic energy.
