A short Korean bow from the Yeonmugung line, built for heavy draw weights.

The YMG range goes up to 95 lbs at 31 inches, which sets it clearly apart from the rest of the KTB models. This version is 44 inches long and 80 lbs. The hard maple core is faced with carbon, glass fibre and birch, and the grip section is covered in sheepskin.

Draw weight follows the Korean convention and is measured at 31" of draw, not at the AMO standard of 28" used in the West.
80 lbs at 31" is a very high draw weight. The bow makes sense once technique and thumb ring release are already established.
The bow is built to order in Korea, a lead time of up to twelve weeks is normal.
